1966 Chevrolet Corvair

STK 3872 1966 Chevrolet Corvair The original Corvair was introduced by GM in 1960 as a 'sporty compact. It was the most unique car GM had ever put into production. There was a 2-door coupe and 4-door sedan, both with air-cooled flat-6 engines mounted in the rear and backed by either a 2-speed automatic or 3-4 speed manual rear transaxle. In 1965, GM introduced the Gen2 Corvair - much more stylish and comfortable. This '66 Corvair coupe is an outstanding, original example of the base no-frills Corvair 500 model. The factory Willow Green finish is still in overall good condition; however, there are a few blemishes in the paint. Factory 13" steel wheels have factory dog-dish hubcaps and mount nice Maxxis radial tires.
