The original Gen 1 design was built for three years, benefiting from performance and cosmetic upgrades each year. The 1957 T'Bird was a sales success with over 21,000 units delivered. This fully restored (2008) '57 Thunderbird has been possessed by the current owner for 15 years and is a stunning example of that first generation model.
