STK 4087 1957 Ford Thunderbird The Thunderbird was introduced in 1955 as a 'Personal Car of Distinction". The original Gen 1 design was built for three years, benefiting from performance and cosmetic upgrades each year. The 1957 T'Bird was a sales success with over 21,000 units delivered. This fully restored (2008) '57 Thunderbird has been possessed by the current owner for 15 years and is a stunning example of that first generation model. The T'bird is striking with a professional re-spray of Coral Sand (code Z) accented by the newly designed front/rear fascias, rear fender skirts, excellent chrome and wide-white radials mounted on steel wheels w/factory wheel covers.
