1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II

Limited Production Continental Mark II - The 1957 Continental Mark II was an elegant, meticulously built coupe that remains a standout of mid-century automotive design. The Mark II was intended to rival Europe's finest grand tourers and establish the Continental Division as a premier luxury brand. Each vehicle was largely hand-assembled and finished to exacting standards. Production was intentionally limited and Ford is said to have lost money on each unit. Around 440 Continental Mark II models were built during the 1957 model year, before the Continental Division was folded into the Lincoln Division.
