The second-generation F-Body Firebird is much sought after because of its automotive design and combination of power. GM design chief Bill Mitchell had an affinity for European cars and that can be seen on the 1970 Firebird with its longer nose and fast sloping rear profile, a real head turner with essentially the same dimensions as the 1969 model. The cockpit is fitted with black (code 218) vinyl bucket seats up front and a two-seat rear bench as well as matching door panels, dash, headliner, center console, Hurst shifter and carpeting.
