1969 Camaro SS396- When introduced in 1967, few at Chevrolet imagined that the Gen1 Camaro would eventually become a GM icon like the tri-five Bel-Airs from a decade earlier. Chevy was simply trying to join the promising pony-car market, but the Camaro was an instant success story, one that continues to this day. The original Camaro was loved by all because of a stylish blend of sculpted bodylines, distinctive accents and an abundance of performance options. The '69 Camaro was the final year of that Gen1 model. It featuring a more aggressive exterior and a wider stance - the designers at GM had it figured to perfection.
