The Formula S package was Plymouth's performance statement, combining the Super Commando 383 cubic inch big block with heavy duty torsion bars, heavy duty rear leaf springs, a front stabilizer bar, firm ride shocks, wide tread red streak tires, dual exhaust, a four barrel carburetor, and a special cam straight from the factory.
