1948 Ford F-5 Custom Flatbed

Check out this beast that looks like it is straight out of a Mad Max movie! Built to survive an Apocalypse this 48 Ford sits on a 1985 Chevy K35 4×4 Dually Chassis and is finished in a Matte Silver with Black Solid Steel Bumpers and Flatbed with under bed storage boxes, removable gates, LED lighting, center gooseneck attachment and bed mounted fuel tank. The 16 inch Steel Dually wheels are finished in Forest Green with 6 new Cooper Discovery All Terrain tires. Under the hood sits a 454 Chevy crate motor with a polished aluminum intake, 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor, HEI distributor, aluminum radiator with electric fan, Hydroboost power disc brakes, power steering, dual Flowmaster exhaust and Vintage A/C. Power gets transferred to the road through a 4 speed manual transmission with a granny low, hydraulic clutch assembly, NP205 transfer case feeding the rear 14 Bolt axle with Detroit locker as well as the front Dana 60 with electronic Eaton locker and locking hubs. The interior is finished in a durable Grey Vinyl with a digital gauge package, center panel with multiple switches for accessories, Sony AM/FM CD Stereo with Auxiliary port, tilt steering column with wood and Billet spoke steering wheel, Dynamat heat and sound proofing throughout, new glass and weatherstripping. A very cool Classic truck that is modernized enough to take to Home Depot to pick up some supplies or to the tackle shop for Hay for the horses!
