This was allegedly one of many vehicles that John Dillinger stole while he was on the run from the police. In 1934, Dillinger stole a 1929 Ford Model A in St Paul, Minnesota during his escape from the authorities. The car was later abandoned in Chicago where the police recovered it. Dillinger often stole Ford's because they were fast, widespread, and easy to find for parts. This 1929 Ford is documented with an Illinois title showing transfer June 1st, 1936. The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels.
