Iconic E Code Thunderbird- This 1957 Thunderbird is a rare 'E code' (2x4 intake) example of the iconic Ford roadster. The Thunderbird was introduced as a sporty competitor to the Corvette, and many say that the T'bird saved the 'Vette from extinction. The 1957 Thunderbird, in its third model year, set a sales record with over 21,000 cars sold. It presented a new front fascia, new rear taillight/fin design and features from the previous year including a 12-volt electrical system, deep-dish 'safety' steering wheel and removable hardtop.
