Billed as a Personal Luxury Car, Ford had tremendous focus on the success of the Thunderbird in the 1950s. In 1957 Ford revised the Thunderbird, providing what would be the last model year of the car's first-generation. For '57; the front bumper was reshaped, allowing for a larger grill and the rear tailfins and tail lamps were enlarged. On the interior, the instrument panel saw significant updates, with round gauges in the dash designed in a single unit. This concours rotisserie restoration matching numbers 1957 is a rare E-Code Thunderbird, one of only 1;363 produced during the model year. E-Code optioned Thunderbirds had a 312 cubic inch 270hp V8 with Dual Quad carburetors.
