Maxmotive is proud to offer this rare, limited edition run 1979 Dodge D150 Lil Red Express truck. These awesome trucks were manufactured for two years, 1978 and 1979. This 1979 version is one of 5,118 made in 1979. In 1979 there were some appearance upgrades compared to the 1978 models. This 1979 Lil Red Express has the flat hood and dual square headlights versus the 1978 models. The D150 is powered by a 5.9L 360 V-8 engine, paired to a 727 3 speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the truck is distinctly set off by the gold lettering, wood paneling on the bed side and tail gate, and the iconic vertical exhaust stacks. Chrome front and rear bumpers match the side stack exhaust. The inside cabin has the 85 MPH speedometer that debuted in 1979.
