This is a very special car our Tampa Showroom is proud to have with us. First, only 3,438 Lemans Sport convertibles were made in 1972 and you could not get a GTO convertible. Recently, we met with the owners of the car who informed us of how they special ordered the car and anxiously waited for its arrival. Here's a thought, of the the 3400 or so LSCs made in 1972, how many were ordered with the 400ci engine? How many are still road worthy? That has to be a very small number.
