1997 Jaguar XJ6

My name is Al Jennings. I’m 83 years old and have been doing show-quality car and truck restorations for over 60 years. I love to make vehicles better than new. But, interestingly, I didn’t actually restore this car. It was PERFECT when I bought it, as an anniversary gift for my wife. I got it from the original lady owner in Carmel Valley, CA in virtually show condition. The car was (and still is) in OUTSTANDING mechanical and stunning cosmetic condition. It has never been left out in the sun or bad weather. No paint or upholstery fading ever. All rubber door and window seals are soft and as new, after 29 years in garaages. The only mechanical repair was a new transmission, just before we bought it. A couple of years after we got it, my wife got forced off the freeway by a trucker who fell asleep.
