1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe All-Steel Big Block Sedan This custom-built 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe, finished as a Petty Tribute Plymouth, is an all-steel hot rod built for both performance and presence. Under the hood is a 1970 Ford 429 Big Block transformed with a Scat-forged 502 stroker kit, .030 over, producing 520+ cubic inches, 520 HP, and 620 torque with an 830 Holley (currently running a modified 750 Holley). With 9.5 compression and stout internals, it can easily be upgraded to 700+ horsepower. Power is delivered through a Tremec 5-speed with Lakewood bell housing and Tilton hydraulic throw-out bearing to a new Winters 9” rear axle with Moser axles, triangular 4-link, and rear sway bar.
