1965 Chevelle Malibu- The first generation Chevrolet Chevelle was a mid-sized model that was produced by GM beginning in 1964. GM's "senior compact" was designed around their A-platform that utilized the body-on-frame construction and a coil spring suspension set-up similar to their full sized models. Chevelle production continued through 1977 (3 generations) and continued to be a mainstay of the Chevrolet lineup. Classic Gen1 Malibu- This 1965 Malibu is an outstanding example of a Gen1 Chevelle, still one of the most collectible Chevys around.
