More Details
The fourth generation (C4) Corvette was built between 1984 and 1996, a pretty healthy 12 year run for the Corvette. The C4 was a welcome break from the C3 with a completely new design, although still outside the box, it was a completely different car in both styling and mechanics with a brand new chassis. In 1993 Corvette would build a 40th Anniversary Corvette that was an additional $1455 and would have special trim, emblems and be offered only in Ruby Red Metallic over Ruby Red leather sport seats. There was a mistake made however in that all Corvettes produced in 1993 had 40th anniversary embroidered on the seats that was intended only for the Anniversary cars. There were only 6700 anniversary cars produced. This particular stunning example has less than 10,000 miles on the odometer and it shows in every way.
