1971 AMC Javelin SST

1971 AMC Javelin SST American Motors Corporation (AMC) is one of the often forgotten contributors to the muscle car boom of the late 1960s and early 1970s. With cars like the Javelin and AMX, AMC made some truly competitive products and even won the Trans-Am race series with the Javelin in 1971, 1972 and 1976, against cars like the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger. This 1971 Javelin SST was from the first year of the second generation Javelin, which had seen a complete redesign that ran until 1974. Finished in light metallic blue, this Javelin benefits from a comprehensive, rotisserie restoration by North American Muscle Cars between 2018 and 2019 and remains in exceptional condition. The 1971 redesign included unique fender bulges, a rear spoiler and long sloping front hood.
