1965 Pontiac LeMans Convertible GTO Tribute The Pontiac GTO is rightfully credited as the car that kicked off the muscle car revolution. By sticking the engine out of the larger Boneville into the compact LeMans, it became a sensation and remains one of the most talked about cars of the 1960s. This 1965 LeMans Convertible has been given the full GTO treatment and offers all of the looks, performance and fun, at a fraction of the price. This LeMans was treated to a comprehensive, frame off restoration by a previous owner and was purchased by the consignor through the Volo Auto Museum in August of 2021. The exterior is finished in stunning Viper Blue two-stage paint, which compliments the white power convertible top exceptionally well.
