Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. Americans have had a love affair with Chevrolet's Camaro since it went on sale on Sept. 29, 1966 to compete with Ford's wildly successful Mustang. Those first generation cars (1967-1969) became legendary when Roger Penske and Mark Donohue's Camaros won the SCCA Trans-Am series in 1968 and 1969, and they've been in demand ever since. But the early, chrome-bumper 2nd generation cars (1970-1973) proudly illustrate what is without question one of the cleanest designs to ever come from Detroit. This spectacular Midnight Bronze (68) 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is an outstanding example of these exquisitely styled pony cars. Lift the hood and you'll find the L48 350 V8 that appears original though it has been decked and restamped.
