There were engine options aplenty ranging from a 223ci six cylinder all the way up to a 427ci V8. One of the rarest of all was the 390 PI or "Police Interceptor. The "P" code 390 engine had solid lifters, a 4 barrel carburetor and produced 330HP compared to the 300HP of the standard "Z" code 390.
