More Details
Vehicle Original VIN : FJ4095169 The FJ40 is one of the most respected off-road vehicles ever built, and the early 1970s examples are the ones serious collectors go looking for. In 1971 a Land Cruiser was driven the full width of the United States while surveying an off-road route, and just three years later a nearly stock FJ40 won the Baja 1000 outright. These trucks were not built to impress anyone at a car show. They were built to go anywhere, and they did. This one was delivered new on March 27th, 1971 by Desert Motor Company in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
