1986 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista- The Chevy El Camino was a combination coupe and utility vehicle that was produced over five generations between 1959 and 1987. The El Camino was an adaptation of a standard two-door Chevrolet platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. The 5th generation El Camino took styling cues from the mid-sized Malibu. Elements such as front-end sheet metal, doors and bumpers were all Malibu tooling, as was much of the interior design. However, the Gen 5 El Camino did have a unique chassis that was shared with no other Chevrolet.
