Engine swapped with 2.0 VW engine. 5 speed fun to drive. Currently runs. Completed a Boston trip last summer in this golf. Was originally from a non-salted state and has less rust than expected. Cons( for a inspection sticker according to shop) -Needs exhaust work as it is very loud and leaks -Needs a new fuel hose -Has some rust on the rocker area and needs patches on the passenger seat -Driver door is hard to shut and as-is interior -Plenty of attention from a very loved classic Would be a fantastic summer project as the rest is cosmetic and would make the perfect blank canvas Maine title in hand Open to offers, and here to answer questions.
