Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the classic and muscle car business. By 1968, the "Muscle Car Wars" were raging and as dealers loaded hot models with profitable options, they often became too expensive for the young enthusiasts that they were intended for. Plymouth's answer to this problem was to offer a no-frills, bench seat sedan with a strong engine and transmission at a low price. The resulting Road Runner was so successful that Plymouth scrambled to produce 45,000 cars when only 2500 orders were expected. This stunning 1970 Road Runner, however, is a bird of a different feather. This jewel is the result of an uncompleted $180K restoration in an attempt to build the finest Road Runner in existence. Tony recently finished this work of art and it does not disappoint.
