1994 Chevrolet Corvette

1994 was a milestone year for Corvette on multiple fronts. On September 2nd of that year, the National Corvette Museum opened its doors in Bowling Green, Kentucky, directly across from the assembly plant where every Corvette had been built since 1981. Earlier that summer, Chevrolet supplied 25 special Corvettes as official cars for the inaugural Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, an event that drew the largest crowd and the largest purse in NASCAR history up to that point. Thirteen were Torch Red, twelve were black, which means this car wears the same color as the majority of the Brickyard fleet.
