1968 Porsche 911

High Octane Classics is proud to offer this 1968 Porsche 911 finished in Polo Red over black leatherette and Pepita cloth, powered by a 2.0-liter flat-six equipped with dual Weber carburetors. Since 2021 this car has undergone a mechanical and visual refresh including refinishing the 15? Fuchs wheels, overhauling the Type 901 five-speed manual transaxle, installing Pertronix elecronic ignition and a sway bar kit, and replacing the alternator, heat exchangers, and windshield washer pump. The car was produced in the final year of the short wheelbase 911 series, and came finished from the factory in this color combination. It was repainted in 2018 following replacement of the front suspension pan and floors. Exterior details include side marker lamps, rear bumper guards, polished trim, and a chrome-plated grille on the rear engine lid.
