Jeep made no wranglers for 1996 but built the 95 wrangler until Dec of 1995. This Jeep has 2 distinctions that would be on the tj model. The round hood bumpers and the new style tailgate hinges. I bought this jeep from a Retire couple in southern Colorado who use it at there vacation house since 2002.
