More Details
Vehicle Original VIN : B1DA150092 From 1949 to 1951 the custom nameplate was Ford highest trim level. It was Fords first major re-design post WWII. The cars would later be called the "shoebox" Fords. The first postwar design beat out Chevrolet by 6-months and Plymouth by 9-months. Which in retrospect was a huge deal and would garner market superiority for quite some time. The design would be a slabsided ponton fender design. A couple design revision for 1951 which included the double bullet nose vs. the single but other than that not a ton of changes. This particular car is in absolute stunning restored condition from top to bottom.
