1978 Chevy RS Camaro V8 Auto Red & Black

The 1978 Chevrolet Camaro introduced a major styling refresh featuring body-colored urethane front and rear bumpers and redesigned tricolor taillights. This model year achieved historic success by setting an all-time Camaro sales record with 272,631 units produced. This particular example is equipped with its original driveline which consists of a 305ci V8 engine, a T350 auto transmission and a 10-bolt rear end. It is a two-toned Black on top of Red car with a sweet red interior. It has its original Rally rims with newer 225/70R14 BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. The interior is all original except for the Sony CD player, Pioneer speakers and the Sun Pro triple gauge pack (temp, voltage & oil pressure). It was repainted in its current colors about 20 years ago but the clear coat started peeling about 10 years ago, there is fading on the roof, there is a small spot on the front fender where it is missing, there are some dents and dings as well as a few small rust bubbles. It drives well and everything works as it should. All the lights, horn and wipers work properly and it recently had an oil and filter change. We would conservatively appraise this a #3 car which is represented by the JD Power Average Retail Value which is currently $9,900.00.
