Only 408 examples were produced for the U.S. market, with production split between Black Metallic and Platinum Metallic. The Weissach Edition was created as a tribute to Porsche's motorsport and development operations at Weissach and featured special equipment intended to give the standard 911SC a more performance-oriented character.
