Check out this wicked 1970 Dodge Charger 500, a model many enthusiasts are unaware of. For the 1968 model year, Dodge's restyled the Charger with its recessed grille and inset rear window that absolutely slayed on the showroom floor but which was uncompetitive in NASCAR. For 1969 Dodge released the Charger 500, a homologation special with a flush grille and backlight specifically designed for NASCAR. For 1970, however, the 500 was a trim level that featured some sporty options without having to order the top-level R/T package.
