1967 Ford Fairlane 500

This very rare fully restored 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 show condition is one of 72 R-codes ever produced powered by a 427ci 2x4 engine mated to a 4-speed transmission. This California delivered car has had a full rotisserie restoration on a beautiful Code I Ivy Gold Green metallic paint with Ivy gold cloth/vinyl bench seat interior. This spectral anomaly is popularly known as the R-code Fairlane, because the fifth spot in its VIN is an R, denoting the hot 427 between the shock towers. Specific springs, a mandatory Toploader four-speed, 11.375-inch front drum brakes, slower (manual) steering, specially built cast iron manifolds with transverse muffler dual exhaust system, (this car has been modified for with larger exhaust tubes and dual flow master mufflers) and an open 9-inch rear with 3.89 gears were among the mandatory R-code spiffs.
