Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. It did not take long for Chevrolet's Chevelle to become deeply rooted in American car culture after it was introduced for the 1964 model year. Excellent styling, relatively tidy dimensions, and practically limitless versatility gave the Chevelle a distinct advantage in the market. Said versatility meant that you could order a Chevelle as an economical commuter, a family friendly wagon, or a big block stoplight terror. Also, though seldom mentioned in contemporary road test reports, when ordered with the more powerful optional engines, a 4-link rear suspension gave Chevelles a major advantage with regards to traction.
