The DMC-12 is instantly recognizable for its wedge-shaped design, gullwing doors, and stainless-steel body. On this particular example, the red exterior finish is deteriorating in several areas, with peeling paint exposing the iconic silver stainless-steel underneath. This gives the car a particularly distinctive look while also revealing the material that made the DeLorean so different from other sports cars of its era.
