1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 2dr Convertible

1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible â?" Bright Red over Red, 5.0 HO V8, AOD Automatic, Flowmaster Dual Exhaust Why This Car Is Special The 1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible occupies a specific and well-understood place in Fox Body history. By 1992, Ford had been refining the 5.0 HO combination for several years, and the LX convertible had become the sleeper configuration of the lineup â?" lighter than the GT, with the same drivetrain, and available in a drop-top body style that the GT didn't offer until certain years. The VIN on this car confirms it was built at the Dearborn Assembly Plant, the historic Michigan facility responsible for producing a significant share of Fox Body Mustangs throughout the generation's run from 1979 to 1993.
