1968 Chevrolet El Camino This 1968 Chevrolet El Camino combines classic Chevrolet styling with its original 327 engine, carefully selected performance upgrades, and a lowered stance. A two-family vehicle with a history in the Palm Springs and Palm Desert areas of California, it retains Malibu script badging and an interior that remains approximately 80 percent original. The engine features port-polished cast-iron heads, an Edelbrock 650 carburetor, electronic ignition, and Sanderson shorty headers. An H-pattern dual-exhaust system complements the powertrain. During the paint restoration, the body was stripped to bare steel and refinished in its original color, preserving the car’s traditional appearance. Chassis updates include two-inch drop spindles and front disc brake.
