Vehicle Original VIN : 2G2FV32P4R2248159 The "Firebird" model would be manufactured and sold under Pontiac from 1967 through 2002 until Pontiac was shuttered under GM's management. It was a pony car designed to compete with the Ford Mustang/Cougar. It would be built in five different generations with multiple mid generation face-lifts and a multitude of power train options.
