To mark Corvette’s 25th Anniversary the 1978 model received major aerodynamic restyling with a large wrap around back window, a fastback roof line which answered criticisms of limited luggage space and a commemorative badge on the front nose. A new temporary space saving spare tire enabled the installation of a new larger 24-gallon fuel tank. The interior was also upgraded for 1978 by putting the round gauges in a more squared off area and a glove box replaced the map pockets located in front of the passenger. This beauty is completely numbers matching and has just 76,246 original miles. It was factory optioned with Silver Metallic paint that is adorned with Dark Grey Metallic accents and a Mahogany Leather interior with cloth inserts. It has its original L48 350ci V8 engine, a T350 Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and a 12-bolt posi rear end.
